Restore Your Smile

When teeth are damaged or missing, our goal is to preserve as much of your natural tooth as possible, and to rebuild what’s gone in a way that feels normal again. Dr. Chaudhry walks you through every option so you can decide what fits your life.

What restorative dentistry covers

A small chip or crack? Bonding can fix that in one visit. A larger break or a tooth weakened by a big filling? A crown protects the tooth so you can chew on it again with confidence. Missing teeth? Bridges, dentures, and dental implants each have their place, the right answer depends on your bite, your bone, your goals, and your budget.

We also handle the things that are easy to ignore until they hurt: an infected tooth that needs root canal therapy, a tooth too damaged to save and asking to come out, gum disease creeping in, and the chronic jaw tension that comes with grinding or TMJ. None of it has to be scary. The first step is just a careful exam and an honest conversation about your options.

Restorative Dentistry FAQs

Do I really need a crown, or will a filling work?

A filling repairs a small amount of decay. A crown is needed when a tooth is cracked, heavily decayed, or weakened, because it caps and protects the whole tooth. Dr. Chaudhry recommends the most conservative option that will actually hold up.

Are root canals painful?

Modern root canals feel much like getting a filling. The procedure relieves the pain caused by an infected tooth rather than creating it. With local anesthetic, most patients are comfortable throughout and back to normal the next day.

How long do dental crowns and bridges last?

With good brushing, flossing, and regular checkups, most crowns and bridges last 10 to 15 years, and often longer. Avoiding ice-chewing and treating grinding with a nightguard helps them last even longer.

What are my options for replacing missing teeth?

The main options are dental implants, fixed bridges, and removable dentures. Each has trade-offs in cost, comfort, and bone health. We walk you through all three so you can choose what fits your mouth, your goals, and your budget.
