What is restorative dentistry?
It is the side of dentistry that rebuilds: fillings for cavities, crowns for broken or weakened teeth, bridges and dentures for missing ones, root canals for infected teeth, and full-mouth plans when several problems need one coordinated answer. How can I afford restorative dental work without insurance?
This is one of the most common questions we hear, and it has real answers. The Virginia Dental Club is a membership that covers preventive care for a flat yearly fee and discounts restorative treatment, with no claims or waiting periods. CareCredit financing and payment plans are available too, and every treatment plan comes with a written estimate before work begins.
What are my options for replacing missing teeth?
Three main paths: a bridge anchored to neighboring teeth, removable full or partial dentures, or dental implants that replace the root as well as the crown. Each has trade-offs in cost, longevity, and what your mouth needs to support it. The right answer depends on your bite, your bone, your goals, and your budget, which is what the first exam figures out.
How do I know which restorative treatment I need?
