Welcome
Your first visit, made simple.
Whether it’s been six months or six years since you’ve seen a dentist, we’re glad you’re here. Here’s everything you need to feel ready for your first appointment.
What your first visit looks like
When you arrive, we’ll greet you by name, take you back at your appointment time (we keep on schedule on purpose), and start with a real conversation. Dr. Chaudhry wants to know what brought you in, what concerns you have, what your dental history looks like, and what you want your smile to feel like going forward.
Then we’ll do a thorough exam — gentle X-rays only as needed, a careful look at your teeth, gums, and bite, and an oral cancer screening that takes just a few minutes. Most first visits include a cleaning. Throughout, we’ll tell you what we’re seeing and why it matters.
By the time you leave, you’ll know exactly what your mouth looks like, what (if anything) needs attention, what it costs, and how we’d like to space it out. No pressure, no upsell, no surprise bills.

How to prepare for your first appointment
The most useful thing you can do before your first visit is fill out our patient registration online. It saves about fifteen minutes at the front desk and lets Dr. Chaudhry review your medical history, current medications, and any concerns you have shared before he ever meets you. If you have insurance, jot down your member ID and group number so we can verify benefits in advance and tell you what to expect at checkout.
Plan to arrive about ten minutes early on the day of the appointment. Parking is right outside the door at 2913 Orange Avenue NE — no garage, no meters, no walking. If you take Valley Metro, the bus stop is on the corridor and our entrance is wheelchair-accessible. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm; if those hours do not work for your schedule, mention it when you call and we will do our best to find a fit.
First visits typically last about an hour. We start with a calm conversation — what brought you in, what your goals are, and what your past dental experiences have looked like. Then a comprehensive exam, gentle digital X-rays only as needed, an oral cancer screening, and a professional cleaning when time allows. Before you leave, our front desk will walk you through any recommended treatment, the cost, what your insurance or membership covers, and how the rest gets paid for. No surprise bills. No high-pressure sales. Just a clear plan and an open door whenever you are ready to come back.
Insured, uninsured, anxious, or returning after years away — you are welcome here. Call 540-342-8781 if you have a question before booking, or pick a time online and we will see you soon.
