Our in-office whitening treatment takes about an hour. Your gums and lips are protected first, then a professional-strength whitening gel goes on the front of your teeth and gets activated. Take-home kits

Whitening kits to take home let you brighten your smile on your own schedule, in the privacy of your home. We’ll fit you for custom trays and walk you through the gel and the timing, usually a daily wear over a couple of weeks. Plenty of patients combine a single in-office session with take-home trays for ongoing touch-ups.

Professional vs. drugstore

Over-the-counter strips and toothpastes can help with surface stains, but they can’t match the depth of change you get with professional gel in custom trays. Is professional whitening safe for my teeth?

Yes, when it is done with an exam first, which is exactly how we do it. Before any gel touches your teeth we screen for decay, gum trouble, and sensitivity, protect your gums and lips, and match the gel strength to your enamel. Will whitening work on crowns, fillings, or veneers?

No. Whitening gel only changes natural enamel, so crowns, fillings, bonding, and veneers stay the shade they were made.
