Here it is, plainly and kindly: Original Medicare does not cover most routine dental care. Cleanings, fillings, dentures, extractions, none of it is included in Parts A and B. Some Medicare Advantage plans do add dental benefits, and those benefits vary widely from plan to plan, in what they cover, how much they pay, and which offices they pay it at.
