The radiation dose is much lower than old-style film X-rays, and we only take images when they genuinely help your care. Best of all, the picture goes straight to the screen in front of you. When Dr. Chaudhry points to a shadow between two molars and explains what it means, you are looking at the same image he is, and that makes every decision a shared one.
iTero digital scanning: goodbye, goopy impressions
If you have ever bitten into a tray of impression putty and counted the seconds until it set, you will appreciate this one. Our iTero scanner uses a small wand that glides over your teeth and captures a precise 3D model in a few minutes. No putty, no gagging, no do-overs. Because the digital model is more accurate than a physical impression, appliances like Invisalign clear aligners tend to fit better from the very first set. Most patients tell us the scan is the easiest part of the whole visit.
CBCT 3D imaging: planning before treating
A traditional X-ray shows your teeth from one angle. A CBCT cone beam scan shows the jaw from every angle in a scan that takes only a few seconds. For dental implants, that 3D view lets us check bone density and map the position of nerves and sinuses before treatment ever begins, so the plan accounts for everything under the surface and surprises stay out of the operatory. It also makes the consultation clearer: we can look at the scan together and talk through your case in plain language.
