Oral Cancer Screening

A short, comfortable screening at every comprehensive exam. Catching changes early is what makes oral cancer most treatable.

What we look for

Dr. Chaudhry visually examines the soft tissues of your mouth, tongue, gums, and throat, and gently feels for unusual lumps or thickening. The screening takes only a few minutes and is included as part of your comprehensive exam.

Why it matters

When oral cancer is caught early, it’s far more treatable. The whole point of regular dental visits is to detect problems — from tooth decay to oral cancer — in a timely manner so they can be addressed when they’re still small.
